First Canadian Specialty

Abbotsford, British Columbia, Thursday, October 26th, 2000

The Specialty will be held at the Lower Mainland Dog Fanciers Annual Show in Abbotsford, British Columbia on Thursday, October 26th. Aside from the specialty there will be four other shows that weekend in the same building giving exhibitors the opportunity to earn points in five shows in one weekend.

Abbotsford is about one hour from the city of Vancouver and the show is held in the "Tradex" which is a huge, well appointed building, ideal for dog shows. The other Lower Mainland Dog Fanciers shows are generally the largest in Canada in entries and it is an event we all look forward to each year.

The Specialty will include puppy and veterans sweepstakes which will be judged by Jack Girton of Colorado, USA. The regular classes, which will include alters, veterans, stud dog and brood matron classes will be judged by Carla Molinari. The organization has arranged for a host hotel and will have several seminars as well as social events and a hospitality suite where everyone can gather and socialise.

The organization hosts an excellent web page with lots of information including the list of trophies and donations. You will find it at
