20th to the 25th September '98

  This is THE event in North America. This is where you want to be to see the largest number of Portuguese Water Dogs per square feet!! This year the Mid-Atlantic Portuguese Water Dog Club will do the honours and they have arranged everything up to the last detail. They have arranjed for excellent accomodation for everyone and their buddies in some of the finest hotels in Carlisle, PA, so that you have absolutely no excuses not to attend! The Embers is a relaxed, dog friendly site with 275 oversized rooms, all on one floor. The show will be held on the grounds of The Embers.

Rate:
There is a flat rat of $68 plus 6% PA Sales Tax per room, per day. Most major cards are honored.

Room Damage Deposit:
A $100 CASH DEPOSIT is required upon arrival for all rooms which contain dogs. Credit cards are not accepted for this deposit. The deposit will be refunded after the room has passed inspection.
Self contained motorhomes may park at The Embers at $20 per vehicle per night.

Transportation:

The Embers is located 25 miles from the Harrisburg International Airport; 1 1/2 hours from the Baltimore Washington International Airport and 2 hours from the Philadelphia International Airport. The Embers provides at a nominal fee for it's guests a shuttle service to/from the Harrisburg Airport. Please make all the arrangements directly with the Embers.
